Gravel Modernity, Timeless Elegance
Traditional lugged construction and unmatched beauty on a fully modern gravel race bike. This is it, this is the best we can do. Our dream hand-crafted USA-made gravel racer, built with the absolute finest frame materials and meticulously crafted in our Minneapolis workshop. It is light, nimble, capable, and most importantly comfortable for very long days in the saddle. When it comes to big rides, we believe that “comfortable is fast!”

The lugged version of the Earth Ship utilizes a unique Chris Bishop designed lugset and a super light Columbus Life tubeset. The tubeset is unique as it features a tapered top tube and seat tube. The main triangle tubes are super thin .7/.4/.7 tubing and give this bike an incredibly lively and supple feel. The thin tubing and lugs do introduce some limitations, and on this frame we're assigning a 230lb rider and gear weight limit and a max tire size of 45c.

You’ll find a full suite of features that include:

  • Three bottle mounts, top tube bag mount, and fender mounts.
  • The frame is built around our Wayfinder fork which has three-pack mounts on each leg and internal dynamo and brake routing.
  • For cable management, we’ve chosen to use Paragon’s modular system which allows the cleanest possible appearance and can be customized for AXS, 1X or a traditional two derailleur setup. We use full-round cable guides on the stays as we find plastic zip ties on high-end bikes to be an inelegant compromise.
  • Clearance for 700 X 45c or 650b X 2.1" tires

GEOMETRY
Gravel race geo with all-day comfort at the forefront. The tall stack, a slightly lowered bottom bracket, and generous stays yield an unbelievably smooth ride and inspire confidence when descending fast over loose terrain. Fairly traditional head tube and seat tube angles keep everything quick and maneuverable.

TUBING

Nothing but the ultralight best. Columbus Life .7/.4/.7 tapered main triangle with Columbus Zona chainstays. Chris Bishop designed gravel specific lugset ties them together.
